Branding: Atrocious Clothing
This is one of the four big Brand projects I made for Portfolio Class during Spring 2024 semester (from February to May 2024). I had to come up with 5 culminating Brand projects in order to finish my Portfolio and pass the class.

This is project is named Atrocious Clothing, an alternative/gothic fashion brand inspired by Killstar, Disturbia, etc. This fictional company caters to alternative/gothic women in their 20s/30s who are middle class (since this kind of fashion is slightly more expensive than generic brands like Shein, Fashion Nova, etc). Even though alternative fashion is different from mainstream clothing, there is still differences that can be found between these micro-styles. This brand specializes in Romantic Goth, which includes elegant, antique and feminine styles, vampire imagery, etc.

Down below I logo designs, fashion merchandise, packaging, and digital designs.
Here is the logo for Atrocious Clothing. For this logo, I decided for a design that represents the niche this brand is catering to (goths/darkly inclined people who have a preference for a Romantic Goth style); so, I decided for an ankh, since it is associated with vampires and the Romantic Goth style. This ankh also has lots of vampire elements, such as bat wings, spiky/angular ends, elegant curves, and tiny bats. As for the colors, I went for black, red, and a gradient mixing black and red; I also included a black and white version, and a red and white version with an elaborated background (made especially as my Behance cover).
This is the Fashion Merchandise and the Packaging for Atrocious Clothing.

Fashion Merchandise: For the Fashion Merchandise, I decided to create two pieces of clothing: A T-Shirt and a Tank Top. The T-Shirt includes the main Logo of Atrocious Clothing in a solid red; the shirt is solid black cotton. As for the tank top, it has an overall pattern of the Atrocious Clothing icon; the background is red, and the icon is black. These two pieces of clothing (inspired by brand merchandise like Hot Topic's) are common in Alternative fashion.

Packaging: For the Packaging, I created two kids of tags, a shoe box, and two kids of polymailers. The designs usually sport a black background with the Atrocious Clothing logo in red, or a pattern with the Atrocious Clothing icon (in black) and the background is red. As for the tags, one of the designs is a basic rectangular tag, and another one that has a more creative design of a christian cross (inspired by Killstar tags).

The tops and the polymailers were printed and were successful (the proportions are correct, and the print is high quality).
This a Newsletter for email marketing. I included essential elements in a Newsletter, like the Brand name, a menu (since it's a digital medium, people can click in any of the menu elements to start shopping, which is the main goal of the newsletter), images, text informing customers about the new collections, and bottom part that includes an slogan, a QR code to facilitate mobile app download, Social Media links, and legal disclaimers.

The aesthetics include the colors red and black, the Atrocious Clothing logo and icon, and fonts such as Amador, and Baskerville (which give the text a gothic and antique vibe).
